Step 1: Download the Blog Botz Extension
Begin by downloading the Blog Botz OpenCart extension zip file. You can find it on the OpenCart Marketplace or directly from the Blog Botz website.

Step 2: Log In to Your OpenCart Admin Panel
Access your OpenCart admin dashboard by logging in. Once inside, navigate to Extensions > Installer from the left-hand side menu.

Step 3: Upload the Extension
In the Installer page, click on the Upload button and select the Blog Botz extension zip file you downloaded earlier.
Wait for the upload to complete. A success message will appear once it’s done.

Step 4: Install the Extension

  • After the upload, go to Extensions > Modifications and click the Refresh button in the top-right corner to update the modifications cache.
  • Next, head to Extensions > Extensions, choose Modules from the dropdown list, find the Blog Botz module, and click Install.

Step 5: Configure the Blog Botz Extension

  • You will find the Webhook URL  Copy it
  • Now Go to Blog botz Panel
  • Add New Site (Opencart)
  • Paste Copied Webhook URL and you are done.

  • Now that your OpenCart store is connected via webhook, Blog Botz will automatically send any new blog posts directly to your store when published.

Note for Non-Journal Theme Users

These installation instructions are specific to stores using the Journal theme. If your store uses a different theme, additional integration steps are required:

  • Ensure that the Webhook URL you entered is correct and starts with https:// for security.

  • Verify that your store’s system can process the JSON data sent by Blog Botz and is mapping it to the correct blog sections.
