ASF Deputy Director's Body Recovered in Kalat, Police Confirm
The body of Muhammad Waseem, Deputy Director of the Airports Security Force (ASF), has been recovered nearly a month after he was reportedly abducted in Balochistan's Kalat district.
According to police officials, the 58-year-old ASF officer, who was a resident of Karachi, had gone missing following an incident in Kalat last month. Authorities confirmed that his body was later recovered during a search operation in the area.
Officials have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his abduction and death. Security measures in and around the region have also reportedly been strengthened following the incident.
The case has drawn attention due to the prolonged disappearance of the senior security official and has raised fresh concerns over the security situation in parts of Balochistan.
Authorities say further details will be released after the completion of forensic examinations and the ongoing investigation.
