BLA Claims Control of Pakistani Army Camps in Ziarat, Says 13 Personnel Killed
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on Pakistani military positions in the Ziarat area, saying its fighters temporarily took control of several army camps during the operation.
In a statement issued to the media, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said the group's fighters launched a coordinated assault on Pakistani military camps in Ziarat. According to the statement, 13 Pakistani military personnel were killed during the operation.
The spokesperson further claimed that BLA fighters seized weapons and ammunition from the military camps before withdrawing from the area.
The claims have not been independently verified, and Pakistani authorities had not issued an official statement regarding the incident at the time of publication.
The latest development comes amid continuing tensions and armed confrontations in different parts of Balochistan, where clashes between security forces and armed groups have been reported in recent months.
