BLA Claims Yasser Mengal Killed in Khuzdar Attack
The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed that Yasser Mengal was among those killed during the group's recent attack on a location it describes as the hideout of Shafiq Mengal in Khuzdar.
In a statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said the operation was carried out by the organization's Majeed Brigade and claimed that more than 20 operatives were killed during the attack.
The group alleges that Yasser Mengal was among those killed. However, Aajoi News has not independently verified this claim, and no official confirmation has been issued by Pakistani authorities regarding the reported casualties or identities of those killed.
The BLA has stated that it will release further details about the operation. The incident comes amid continued violence and security-related incidents across Balochistan, where independent verification of claims remains difficult due to limited access to affected areas.
