Sain GM Syed’s ideas and struggle are the key to Sindh’s survival and freedom — Syed Asghar Shah
Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) Chief Commander Syed Asghar Shah, in his message on the 31st death anniversary of Sindh’s revered leader Sain G.M. Syed, emphasized the profound impact of his personality, ideas, and struggle. He stated that Sain G.M. Syed’s legacy is the ultimate guarantee of Sindh’s survival and independence. His contributions serve as a guiding light for the Sindhi nation and its quest for freedom.
Shah highlighted the need for the Sindhi national movement to reassess the rapidly evolving political landscape of the region. He called for the movement to adapt to these new circumstances, employing fresh methods and strategies of resistance. Moving forward with renewed resolve and innovative tactics is essential for accelerating the struggle for liberation.
The SRA chief reaffirmed that freedom is an inherent and historical right of the Sindhi people. He condemned the existence of Pakistan, labeling it as an unnatural and a historical state that cannot suppress Sindh’s aspirations for long. Pakistan’s 78-year history has been marred by crises, wrong decisions, and failures, which have demonstrated the inevitable collapse of states built on false ideologies, conspiracies, and deception.
He pointed out that Pakistan, in its attempt to maintain control over Sindh and other occupied nations like Balochistan and Pashtun regions, is escalating political and economic exploitation. This oppression has reached genocidal levels. Meanwhile, the Pakistani regime is openly begging for aid from international institutions such as the IMF, World Bank, China, and Arab countries, revealing its economic and political desperation.
The chief further observed that the current global and regional climate is dominated by war and conflict. Historically, such turbulent times have led to changes in borders, regional structures, and international alignments. Presently, the world’s political landscape is signaling the formation of new maps, the dissolution of old alliances, and the emergence of new power blocks.
In this context, Shah stressed that the Sindhi nation must unite and correct its course. Guided by the philosophy of Sain G.M. Syed, the movement should adopt strategies rooted in reason, awareness, and wisdom. Moving forward with a clear understanding of the regional and global dynamics is crucial for advancing the struggle for independence.
He emphasized that diplomacy and flattery are fundamentally different. A state like Pakistan, which is built on flawed principles, denies nations their democratic right to self-determination, and suffers from corruption and institutional decay, cannot realistically achieve regional peace through diplomatic means. Such diplomacy is, at best, a farcical illusion in today’s circumstances.
Concluding his message, Shah renewed his pledge of allegiance to Sain G.M. Syed’s thought and revolutionary struggle. He paid homage to him with a revolutionary salute, urging the Sindhi youth and nation to commit themselves to the path of revolutionary resistance. According to him, only through such a struggle can Sindh be liberated and its destiny fulfilled.
